A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THE PEOPLE WHO SUPPORTED ST. JOSEPHS NURSING HOME OVER THE YEARS

supportSt Josephs Nursing Home was originally established in 1985, by Kathleen and the late Denis Kidney in Rock St, Kenmare. In 1997, Kathleen and Denis decided to move the Nursing home to a green field site in Killowen which is on the outskirts of Kenmare. This allowed them to build a thirty four bed, state of the art Nursing Home. Over the years, many people both local, and from faraway have passed through the doors of St. Josephs. There is a lot of singing, laughter and dancing, praying and friendship.

On behalf of the management, we would like to thank all the people who supported St. Josephs over the years: the local priests (currently Fr. Tom Crean and Fr. Liam Lovell), the local Doctors, our supplier’s, Kenmare Hospital, the local chemist’s and our Staff both past and present and we look forward to the future.
